At Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, we are committed to putting the needs of our customers first. To support the most vulnerable in society we work closely with partner organisations. Working together helps us ensure we continue to help those who need it most.
We offer a range of services to our partner organisations, completely free of charge, which can be delivered virtually or face to face. Working with partners in this way empowers them to reach customers who may benefit from receiving help through our schemes.

Our trusted partner training covers all our support services and online application processes.
Completing this free training will provide you with the knowledge needed to verify and apply for one or more of our support options on behalf of your customer.
This training will help support your financial inclusion objectives, offering a potential reduction in charges for eligible customers and the opportunity to increase their disposable income.
In addition to the above, we offer more tailored training to suit the needs of your organisation. This could include:
- An overview of our various support services, enabling you to signpost customers
- Refresher courses for those who have previously received our trusted partner training
- An update on our online application processes and Reach platform
Get direct access to our Vulnerable Customer Community team. We will exhibit and present information about our range of support services at conferences and events.
If you are organising an event, we can adapt our services to suit your needs either face to face or virtual.
During the months of April – October our community exhibition van “Vera” is also used and available to attend your events, subject to space and availability.
Why not invite us to your meeting, either face to face or virtually, where we can present and raise awareness of our range of services as a guest speaker.
One of our friendly, specially trained advisors will attend one to one customer appointments, booked by yourselves, to provide direct access to our services.
This can be done face to face or via our call referral process and can involve us filling in forms on behalf of customers, to support with a potential reduction in charges, access to our free priority services and water efficiency advice. For more information, click here.
To ensure our staff provide the most effective support for our customers, we welcome other organisations to deliver awareness talks to us.
These virtual, interactive, sessions are made up of a ten-minute presentation from a partner organisation, with the option for colleagues to ask questions afterwards.
Organisations that have taken part previously and benefitted from raising awareness of the work they do amongst Welsh Water employees, include: NSPCC, Citizen’s Advice, The British Liver Trust, North Wales Fire Service, Age Cymru, and MIND.
